Dan Wayne |
Tenor |
Thanks to Phil and Kathy Wayne, and community support for music at Wrangell High School, Dan obtained a choir scholarship to sing with conductor Paul Salamunovich at Loyola-Marymount University, between summers working in a Wrangell fish freezer. Music has brought joy into his life in many ways, including marriage and two sweet kids with the love of his life, whom he might never have met without help from the Juneau Lyric Opera. Each year he looks forward to singing with friends at JLO's mid-winter vocal festival conducted by Dr. Byron McGilvray. Dan lived in Firenze long ago and is grateful to OTG for bringing a piece of Firenze here, in Schicchi. He has never been part of a more talented cast and crew. |
