Emily Rae Smith

Emily has been performing for most of her life, but being in operas is still rather new. Her last opera experience was as a chorus member for Opera to Go’s Don Giovanni. Other than that, most of her stage appearances have been through JDHS productions. Her favorite role to date is the Voice of Audrey II, the homicidal plant in Little Shop of Horrors.

Emily is a freshman at UAS who plans to study Psychology and Music. Most of her musical influence comes from her family-- most specifically her dad (Douglas Smith) and her sister (Rebekah Grimes). For this, and many other reasons, Emily loves her family dearly. And to all: God bless!
