Kathleen Wayne

Kathleen Wayne is a registered dietitian who manages federal nutrition programs, including the Women, Infants, and (WIC) program, for the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services.  

Kathleen has worked with Maestro Hunt in numerous opera roles with OT and the Juneau Lyric Opera including Rosina in Rossini's "The Barber of Seville," Mimi in Puccini's "La Boheme”, "Trittico," and "Tosca.” She has also performed the title role in Bizet's "Carmen," and Cunegonde in Leonard Bernstein's "Candide.”  

She has appeared with the Juneau Symphony, under the baton of Kyle Wylie Picket, as a featured soloist in the Poulenc Gloria, Mahler's 4th, and the role of Micaela in Bizet's "Carmen." 

Kathleen has also performed with Opera Fairbanks with conductor Maestro Gregory Butchalter of the Metropolitan Opera.
