Malinda is new to the OTG family.  She comes from a strong musical background.  Since birth Malinda has performed in numerous children’s church choirs with numerous solos.  She enjoyed taking parts in musicals, plays and talent shows.  As a youth she sang for an A Cappella, Women’s Ensemble and Chambers Singers choir for several years.  Malinda qualified for Regional choir as well as the California All State Women’s Honor Choir under the direction of Dr. Sharon J. Paul. Malinda was chosen as the Jenny Lind award winner and was awarded a scholarship at Liberty Union 1994 graduating class and performed for the baccalaureate and graduation ceremony.  Malinda continued her music education at Los Medonas College and Diablo Valley College in Pleasanthill, CA. She enjoyed singing in the college choirs as well as taking up Gospel.  She has spent the last 10 years dedicated to raising a family of 3 and holding musical callings in her church.  She has enjoyed performing solos, duets, and singing in the church choir.  2004-2006 Malinda enjoyed working with the children’s choir in her church and directing them through 2 heartfelt presentations.   An immense amount of gratitude goes to her director Susan Stuart for believing in her and helping her to aspire to be the best she can be. Malinda has had vocal training with, accredited celebrity vocal trainers Ron Anderson of Southern California and Judy Davis of Berkeley, CA and currently has worked with Juneau’s finest and very own Tiffany Hanson.
