Therese has been singing on stage in Juneau's community theater since 1996 when she was performed as the mayor's wife in Music Man. Other past roles include Joy, a stepsister, in Cinderella, Despina in Così fan Tutti, Suzuki in Madama Butterfly and 2nd Lady in Magic Flute. However her favorite role was Charlotte in A Little Night Music, as that was when she met her husband who conducted the show.

Therese has sung with the Juneau Lyric Opera vocal festival chorus, the Juneau Symphony Chorus and the Juneau Bach Society.

She has studied voice with John D'Armand, Kathleen Wayne and Joyce Parry Moore.
