Since moving from the shower to the stage thirteen years ago, Tom Melville has performed on a regular basis with many groups, including Juneau Lyric Opera (Alcindoro in La Bohème, Susannah, Barber of Seville, Beauty and the Beast), the Juneau Symphony, and the Bach Society, as well as Opera To Go. As the host of the Sunday Afternoon Opera on KRNN-FM, he has often been heard but not seen, which makes the role of Buoso Donati a major departure for him.
